School Age Care:  Day Care and Camps, Too

The School Age Care (SAC) Program for children in grades K-6 is located on Delmau del Pino Street behind the Child Care Center (CDC). Fees are based on a sliding scale based on annual family income. During the school year SAC offers a well-rounded recreational program for before and after school that compliments the school day. The program also offers full day summer camps, and some winter and spring camps. During the summer months the summer camp program keeps children busy and entertained. Summer camp is typically provided by Camp Adventure, a nationally recognized summer camp provider from the University of Northern Iowa.

School Age Care (SAC) is a high quality, educational and recreational program for children and youth of Naval Station Rota.  SAC is affiliated with Boys and Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) and 4-H which promote positive youth development through the provisions of opportunities for kids 5-12 years old.  Rota School Age Care is accredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA).  This accreditation assures our parents of our commitment to responsive and loving care, trained and competent staff, a safe and healthy environment and consistent program improvement and quality.
You can either enroll your children in full-time for before and/or after school care or take advantage of our daily and hourly rates for occasional use.  SAC is even open on DGF Elementary early releases and non school day as well.
